I can understand Richard being angry as this is the third time in a short time he took a hit to his head. Looks lilke he is being accompanied by the two ravens of Odin?
Though that does make me curious about “by the Odin’s spear” exclamation…
Especially that “the” here. Maybe it’s just a mistake. I’d expect something more like “by Odin’s spear”, or perhaps “by the spear of Odin”. “By the Odin’s spear” is equivalent to “by the spear of the Odin”, meaning Odin here is a title rather than a name.
Speaking of mistakes, “it’s grave” should be “its grave” (it’s correct for “its weakness”).
And to stop with my nitpickings, I figure part of why Sir Richard is getting angrier is that casual suggestion about destroying the revenant’s soul instead of freeing it properly. It may be simpler but it does sound like the “dark side” option, not sure someone as chivalrous as Richard appreciates this new plan much.
Woops, you’re right! The its it’s has always tripped me up. Since I usually think of it as “someone’s thing” where the apostrophe is used, forgetting that “it’s” means “it is”
The funny thing about that pesky genitive on pronoun is that it’s only its that is victim to that. I’ve never seen people using “he’s” instead of “his”; or “she’s” instead of “her”.
The isles do seem to use the Norse mythology though. For example, I suspect the wave-women are the daughters of the giant Aegir.
And of course, in the end Pontiff Wilhelm will come and declare that the Norse gods are in fact the Twelve Gods 😉
Well from now on they’ll just have to bury everyone with iron spikes through their chests just to be safe.
See to me, it’s the font, its always looks like it’s. The t looks like it has an apostrophe.. I keep almost making corrections for ya, then looking more closely.

Not Odin per se, but The Merchant who does share a few traits with Odin. See http://www.greenknightcomic.com/comic/a-brief-peace-02/
