And so this adventure ends
I hope you guys enjoy; it would actually be interesting to see which chapter was the reader’s favorite insofar!
Anyhow, I will be needing a (rather long) hiatus, I estimate about a month (two max); partially to build my buffer back, partially to get some things organised. I don’t like having to go on hiatus, but at least I’ve been able to get THIS far without any hiatus longer than 2 weeks and never interrupting a chapter, which is the furthest I’ve ever gotten in a web-comic project so rest assured there will be more to come!
isn’t avoiding hiatus the purpose of a buffer?
oh well
Normally yeah; a one month hiatus had been planned for me to re-build my buffer (since there’s been weeks during the drawing of Death’s Call and The Black Mare where I was not able to finish a page), but now I’m also at a point where I have to focus more on my non-webcomic career, and unfortunately that kinda takes precedence.
So far, I think my favorite chapter was the Missing Bell 🙂
I really enjoy reading this comic, not least because I’ve got a huge soft spot for frog knights ever since I played a certain video game back in ’99, my favorite to this day <3
Richard is a loveable protagonist, his armor/clothes look really neat and his facial expressions made me crack up more than once 😀
Also I like how you draw inspiration from nordic and celtic mythology while making it seem quite fresh and unique.
I'm looking forward to the next chapter and don't mind the announced hiatus, it will be worth the wait. Thanks for the time and effort you clearly put into this comic!
Oh man, thanks a lot for the message; things like this are a huge motivational.
On the mythology, the whole reason I started drawing webcomic is because I love drawing historical clothing and creatures from folklore; this arc taking from mainly celtic folklore as you’ve seen
